Holzhausen am Ammersee is celebrating its 1250th anniversary, which gives reason to take a closer look – at a place that has much to tell about art history.
The JES Cultural Foundation cordially invites experts and all interested parties to discover the art colony Holzhausen: how it all began, who lived and worked here, and what traces can still be followed today.
Hear how renowned speakers contextualise the artists' association „Scholle“ and other, partly forgotten artists from Holzhausen. The conference also addresses art and artists under National Socialism and the restitution of artworks.
At the Tagungshotel BVS – right in the heart of the place it's all about.
In parallel with the conference, we are presenting a selection of outstanding works by „Scholle“ artists and other Holzhausen artists in cooperation with the Gemäldegalerie Dachau.
We look forward to seeing you.
